What’s Happening Now
A lot has changed since that August in England (2021). So much so, that I’ve found myself struggling to put it all into words. But I’ll try…
This past year my time and energy have been wrapped up in making a really tough decision – a decision that led to a global move and leaving my beloved narrowboat lifestyle. Even though we made the right choice, it didn’t bring the resolution I’d hoped for. Instead, it left me in a kind of liminal space. td body are still grappling with.
Now, I find myself in Australia, feeling upside down and inside out as I try to adjust to this new reality. It’s disorienting, but I’m also deeply grateful to be closer to my beautiful mum, who’s living with MS. Being near her brings comfort amidst all the change, even as I navigate this unfamiliar territory.

This time together, though challenging, is precious, and I’m holding onto that as I continue to adapt.
Right now I’m resting my focus on the tiny sliver of light shining through, like sunlight sparkles glittering on the water. I’m taking comfort in knowing that, wherever we are in the world, we all share the same moon.
